The fishes marketplace and bistro at Southern Tamiami Trail will hold a 100-year anniversary function Sunday

In 2010, a Sarasota organization commemorates a hundred years of catching, offering and serving clean fish and shellfish.

Walt’s Fish sector, the fish sector and bistro with origins dating back to 1918 that currently functions from an active locality on southern area Tamiami path, was throwing a 100-year anniversary party.

Case on Sunday will highlight a mechanical shark — just like the shark dangling from its indication — food snack bar, real time songs and auctions. In addition serves as a bonus for Tom Wallin monument ridge, placed about six kilometers offshore of Longboat Key and named following the late original Walt’s seafood Market proprietor and parent of existing fourth-generation owner Brett Wallin.
